Hand picked at the peak of ripeness. Processed through a gravity flow system into open top fermenters. Aged in French oak for 12 months. The Pinot Noir clones used in this blend are Dijon 113, 115 & Pommard 4.
Elegant, exotic spice decorates the nose on this wine by Michael Mooney, with leathery clove, elderflowers, hard cinnamon spice and a blackberry fruit core. There is tremendous tension once sipped between graphite, tight elderberries and even some woody blueberries. Bay leaf, pencil lead and purple flower elements pepper the edges.
